Â
A Big Question:
"If everyone’s lying, how can we trust anything?"
Â
In a world where half-truths (and full lies), polarizing information (and misinformation), and outright deceit (and fraud) seem to be the norm, it's easy to feel lost, confused, and overwhelmed.Â
Â
So, how do you navigate the labyrinth of
information (and feelings) these days?
Trust yourself first.Â
Â
Your intuition is your superpower. You’ve got a wealth of experience, knowledge, and instincts that are uniquely yours. So
when something is presented to you (on social media, in the legacy news, by a friend etc), instead of reacting or deciding right away, pause and ask yourself:
+ "Does this resonate with me?"
+ "Does this align with what I know and believe?"
Â
This simple
practice of questioning is a really solid way for you sharpen your internal compass and make better decisions for yourself.Â
Â
Also ... consider the source.
Â
Every piece of information comes from somewhere, and understanding that "where"
can change everything. More questioning ... ask yourself:
+ "What’s their agenda?"
+ "Are they trying to sell me something?"
+ "What have they said in the past that has helped me?"
Â
When you understand motives, you gain the power to better discern what’s reliable,
valuable, and true for YOU.
Â
And also ... embrace uncertainty and do stuff.Â
Â
Life isn’t about having all the answers (or
any answers) ... Â it's about staying curious, asking more questions, trying new things, and spending time comfortably uncomfortably in the unknown.
Â
Your life is your own weird, wild, and beautiful journey. Test, learn, iterate. Having an open mind, open heart, and ongoing self-experimentation will have you sift the glimmers
from all of the glitter and noise.Â
Â
Bottom line:
Stay curious, stay wise, and above all, stay true to who you are.
Â
And on that note, I invite/urge you to skim over what I shared in The Wellness Intelligence Collective (TWIC) this past month. There are no lies, no intention to divide, there are no sales funnels, and TWIC is a place where scrolling is good for you. It's where you can ask
questions, network and connect with likeminded humans, and gain resources, practices, hope, and, of course, Wellness Intelligence.Â
